Deep drama series “Redwater” tells us how one married couple Moon, Kat with her spouse Alfie arrived in a small and very quiet Irish village of Redwater in the hope of finding the son, who was brought up by adoptive parentse. Kat hopes that finding her son, whom she does not know, she will find purpose in her life. Here they learn a secret that the villagers do not want to disclose. 25 years ago there was the collapse of one boat and all the inhabitants have not recovered from this tragedy yet.
Kathleen and Alfie Moon leave behind Albert Square to travel to the sleepy Irish fishing village of Redwater in search of Kat's long-lost son. They uncover a secret the villagers would have preferred to remain buried.
As the villagers struggle to come to terms with their loss, Roisin's estranged sister Eileen returns from America after 20 years away, and Alfie tries to persuade Kathleen not to go to the wake, but she goes along regardless.
Agnes organises a memorial BBQ. Family tensions rise as Eileen realises how much she and Keiran have missed by moving.
When Keiran is forced to face his fear of water, past memories flood back about the night of the boating tragedy.
