Broadchurch season 3 is set three years after the last one and five years since the death of Danny Latimer. But this time DS Ellie Miller and DI Alec Hardy are investigating a serious sexual assault in the community. The woman who has been attacked is Trish Winterman and it’s Hardy and Miller’s job to gure out exactly when and who attacked her. They head to the victim’s house and realise it’s the scene of the crime, but as forensic o cers are called in, the house proves an unusual and tricky place to search. Their initial report reveals the detective’s theory that the attack wasn’t a spontaneous one, it had been planned well in advance. But who in the Dorset community is responsible and how quickly can the cops collar the killer?
