The series revolves around a girl named Elena Michaels. She works as a photographer in Toronto. She is one werewolf girl who was bitten many years ago. Elena tries to avoid her true nature. That's why reincarnation into a werewolf occurs spontaneously at an inopportune moment. A werewolf-single kills a girl and violates the rules that Helen's flock has established. Jeremy wants to find the intruder. Soon the next victim disappears. Elena wants to look for the werewolf alone, but Jeremy persuades her to wait. Glue renders signs of attention to Elena, but she tries to stay away from him. Over time, the flock find a werewolf lair, now Elena wants return to Toronto. But the fact that the child was killed changes her plans. Hunters for the werewolves believe that the Denvers are guilty of the death of the child and the conflict arises between them. Now the flock must find a loner by any means, because their reputation is at stake. Meanwhile, Clay does not lose the opportunity to show Elena her feelings.
A supernatural thriller about the lone female werewolf in existence begins when Elena is forced to leave the perfect life she has made for herself as a photographer in Toronto to return to Upstate New York after her wolf pack is threatened.
Old feelings come to surface for Elena and Clay, who find themselves in a dangerous situation when they track the Mutt to a warehouse and he turns into a wolf.

Elena returns to Toronto for her art show accompanied by Clay, who keeps a protective watch over her while camping out on Philip's couch. Elsewhere, the Pack receive valuable information about the Mutts from an unexpected source.
Elena enters into damage-control mode with Philip, who has become painfully aware of her romantic history with Clay; and later, breaks Pack law when the Mutts launch a coordinated attack in Toronto and threaten the human she loves.
Elena goes against her Alpha's commands when she embraces her killer instinct to free Clay from captivity. Later, when confronted by Phillip, she's forced to come to terms with her true identity.
In the Season 1 finale, Elena returns to Stonehaven and her Pack after learning the truth about Clay's role in her werewolf origins. Reunited, they ready themselves for an epic war against the Mutt army led by Santos and the mysterious James Williams.
